How did home prices perform in Dane during the first half of 2019?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Dane rose by $115,800 while total sales decreased by 11.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $280,400 - a 70.4% increase over the $164,600 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Dane in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Dane for 2019 was $4,835. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,625. This marks an increase of 4.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
