The first half of 2019: Home prices in Windsor increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Windsor rose by $42,400 while total sales decreased by 17.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 135 homes sold, with a median sale price of $289,900 - a 17.1% increase over the $247,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 164 homes sold in Windsor in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Windsor for 2019 was $5,473. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,730. This marks an increase of 15.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
