Falling home prices in Shorewood Hills in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Shorewood Hills fell by $374,800 while total sales increased by 77.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 39 homes sold, with a median sale price of $615,000 - a 37.9% decrease over the $989,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Shorewood Hills in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Shorewood Hills for 2019 was $12,110. In 2018, the median sales tax was $11,449. This marks an increase of 5.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
