How did home prices perform in Black Earth during the second half of 2018?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Black Earth rose by $23,700 while total sales increased by 21.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 34 homes sold, with a median sale price of $175,450 - a 15.6% increase over the $151,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Black Earth in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Black Earth for 2018 was $3,206. In 2017, the median sales tax was $3,294. This marks an decrease of 2.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
