The second half of 2018: Windsor experienced a 4.3% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Windsor fell by $11,500 while total sales decreased by 12%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 139 homes sold, with a median sale price of $255,000 - a 4.3% decrease over the $266,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 158 homes sold in Windsor in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Windsor for 2018 was $4,730. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,399. This marks an increase of 7.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
