Home prices increased in Port Washington during the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Port Washington rose by $8,000 while total sales increased by 21.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 91 homes sold, with a median sale price of $208,000 - a 4% increase over the $200,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 75 homes sold in Port Washington in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Port Washington for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,141, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
