Fredonia median home prices fell by 9.2% in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Fredonia fell by $18,650 while total sales decreased by 4.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $185,000 - a 9.2% decrease over the $203,650 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Fredonia in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Fredonia for 2018 was $3,089. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,920. This marks an increase of 5.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
