September 2021: Brooklyn experienced a 26% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2021 in Brooklyn rose by $65,000 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2021, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $315,000 - a 26% increase over the $250,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Brooklyn in September 2020.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $4,976, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for September 2021.
