Brooklyn median home prices rose by 12% in April 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2021 in Brooklyn rose by $30,500 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2021, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $285,500 - a 12% increase over the $255,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Brooklyn in April 2020.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $4,976, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for April 2021.
