Oregon median home prices rose by 2% in October 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2020 in Oregon rose by $4,800 while total sales increased by 15%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2020, there were 46 homes sold, with a median sale price of $242,100 - a 2% increase over the $237,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 40 homes sold in Oregon in October 2019.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2020 was $5,207. In 2019, the median sales tax was $4,951. This marks an increase of 5.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
