Pricing for the median home in Fitchburg increased during October 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2020 in Fitchburg rose by $32,500 while total sales increased by 45.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2020, there were 67 homes sold, with a median sale price of $360,000 - a 9.9% increase over the $327,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 46 homes sold in Fitchburg in October 2019.

The median sales tax in Fitchburg for 2020 was $6,421. In 2019, the median sales tax was $6,165. This marks an increase of 4.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
