August 2020: Home prices in Dane fell

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2020 in Dane fell by $19,900 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2020, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $330,000 - a 5.7% decrease over the $349,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Dane in August 2019, as well.

The median sales tax in Dane for 2020 was $4,705. In 2019, the median sales tax was $4,835. This marks an decrease of 2.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
