Cambridge median home prices rose by 30.4% in May 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2020 in Cambridge rose by $36,500 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2020, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $156,500 - a 30.4% increase over the $120,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Cambridge in May 2019.

The median sales tax in Cambridge for 2020 was $3,486. In 2019, the median sales tax was $3,445. This marks an increase of 1.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
