March 2020: Cambridge experienced a 6.6% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2020 in Cambridge rose by $11,000 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2020, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $178,750 - a 6.6% increase over the $167,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Cambridge in March 2019.

The median sales tax in Cambridge for 2020 was $3,486. In 2019, the median sales tax was $3,445. This marks an increase of 1.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
