Sun Prairie home prices rose in March 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2020 in Sun Prairie rose by $11,150 while total sales decreased by 31.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2020, there were 64 homes sold, with a median sale price of $270,000 - a 4.3% increase over the $258,850 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 94 homes sold in Sun Prairie in March 2019.

The median sales tax in Sun Prairie for 2020 was $5,693. In 2019, the median sales tax was $5,471. This marks an increase of 4.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
