February 2020: Oregon experienced a 1.4% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2020 in Oregon fell by $3,500 while total sales increased by 80%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2020, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $246,500 - a 1.4% decrease over the $250,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Oregon in February 2019.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2020 was $5,207. In 2019, the median sales tax was $4,951. This marks an increase of 5.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
