DeForest home prices rose in November 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2019 in DeForest rose by $45,000 while total sales increased by 29.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2019, there were 35 homes sold, with a median sale price of $295,000 - a 18% increase over the $250,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in DeForest in November 2018.

The median sales tax in DeForest for 2019 was $5,150. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,417. This marks an increase of 16.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
