Pricing for the median home in Brooklyn increased during November 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2019 in Brooklyn rose by $107,400 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $307,400 - a 53.7% increase over the $200,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Brooklyn in November 2018.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for 2019 was $4,672. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,335. This marks an increase of 7.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
