October 2019: Oregon experienced a 2.3% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in Oregon rose by $5,300 while total sales increased by 48.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were 40 homes sold, with a median sale price of $237,300 - a 2.3% increase over the $232,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in Oregon in October 2018.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2019 was $4,951. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,767. This marks an increase of 3.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
