Pricing for the median home in DeForest increased during October 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in DeForest rose by $34,850 while total sales decreased by 28.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $282,300 - a 14.1% increase over the $247,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 38 homes sold in DeForest in October 2018.

The median sales tax in DeForest for 2019 was $5,150. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,417. This marks an increase of 16.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
