October 2019: Fitchburg experienced a 13.7% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in Fitchburg rose by $39,500 while total sales decreased by 19.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were 46 homes sold, with a median sale price of $327,500 - a 13.7% increase over the $288,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 57 homes sold in Fitchburg in October 2018.

The median sales tax in Fitchburg for 2019 was $6,165. In 2018, the median sales tax was $5,824. This marks an increase of 5.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
