Home prices decreased in Oregon during September 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in Oregon fell by $47,800 while total sales increased by 25.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were 34 homes sold, with a median sale price of $226,600 - a 17.4% decrease over the $274,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in Oregon in September 2018.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2019 was $4,951. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,767. This marks an increase of 3.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
