August 2019: Cross Plains experienced a 13.7% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Cross Plains fell by $34,000 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $214,000 - a 13.7% decrease over the $248,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Cross Plains in August 2018.

The median sales tax in Cross Plains for 2019 was $5,185. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,748. This marks an increase of 9.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
