Pricing for the median home in DeForest increased during July 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2019 in DeForest rose by $106,900 while total sales increased by 5.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2019, there were 41 homes sold, with a median sale price of $334,900 - a 46.9% increase over the $228,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 39 homes sold in DeForest in July 2018.

The median sales tax in DeForest for 2019 was $5,150. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,417. This marks an increase of 16.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
