April 2019: Home prices in Oregon fell

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2019 in Oregon fell by $72,550 while total sales increased by 76.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2019, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $192,350 - a 27.4% decrease over the $264,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Oregon in April 2018.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2019 was $4,951. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,767. This marks an increase of 3.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
