Sun Prairie home prices rose in March 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2019 in Sun Prairie rose by $24,350 while total sales increased by 34.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2019, there were 94 homes sold, with a median sale price of $258,850 - a 10.4% increase over the $234,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 70 homes sold in Sun Prairie in March 2018.

The median sales tax in Sun Prairie for 2019 was $5,471. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,961. This marks an increase of 10.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
