January 2019: Home prices in Verona increased

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2019 in Verona rose by $38,500 while total sales decreased by 28%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2019, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $265,000 - a 17% increase over the $226,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in Verona in January 2018.

The median sales tax in Verona for 2019 was $5,719. In 2018, the median sales tax was $5,547. This marks an increase of 3.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
