December 2018: Marshall experienced a 128.3% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2018 in Marshall rose by $115,500 while total sales increased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $205,500 - a 128.3% increase over the $90,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Marshall in December 2017.

The median sales tax in Marshall for 2018 was $3,715. In 2017, the median sales tax was $3,806. This marks an decrease of 2.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
