Oregon home prices fell in October 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2018 in Oregon fell by $23,000 while total sales decreased by 6.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2018, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $232,000 - a 9% decrease over the $255,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 29 homes sold in Oregon in October 2017.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2018 was $4,767. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,607. This marks an increase of 3.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
