September 2018: Black Earth experienced a 33.7% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Black Earth rose by $39,050 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $155,000 - a 33.7% increase over the $115,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Black Earth in September 2017.

The median sales tax in Black Earth for 2018 was $3,206. In 2017, the median sales tax was $3,294. This marks an decrease of 2.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
