Cambridge median home prices rose by 44.5% in September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Cambridge rose by $64,000 while total sales decreased by 22.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $207,900 - a 44.5% increase over the $143,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Cambridge in September 2017.

The median sales tax in Cambridge for 2018 was $3,504. In 2017, the median sales tax was $3,603. This marks an decrease of 2.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
