Home prices increased in Sun Prairie during September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Sun Prairie rose by $52,200 while total sales decreased by 32.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were 61 homes sold, with a median sale price of $262,200 - a 24.9% increase over the $210,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 90 homes sold in Sun Prairie in September 2017.

The median sales tax in Sun Prairie for 2018 was $4,961. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,696. This marks an increase of 5.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
