Median home prices in DeForest fell to $262,500 in September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in DeForest fell by $14,478 while total sales increased by 18.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were 32 homes sold, with a median sale price of $262,500 - a 5.2% decrease over the $276,978 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in DeForest in September 2017.

The median sales tax in DeForest for 2018 was $4,417. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,130. This marks an increase of 6.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
