Pricing for the median home in Stoughton increased during August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Stoughton rose by $2,700 while total sales decreased by 19.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $206,200 - a 1.3% increase over the $203,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 52 homes sold in Stoughton in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Stoughton for 2018 was $4,347. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,126. This marks an increase of 5.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
