August 2018: Home prices in Cambridge increased

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Cambridge rose by $127,500 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $257,500 - a 98.1% increase over the $130,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Cambridge in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Cambridge for 2018 was $3,504. In 2017, the median sales tax was $3,603. This marks an decrease of 2.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
