August 2018: Middleton experienced a 11.9% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Middleton fell by $38,500 while total sales decreased by 8.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 55 homes sold, with a median sale price of $286,000 - a 11.9% decrease over the $324,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 60 homes sold in Middleton in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Middleton for 2018 was $5,924. In 2017, the median sales tax was $5,677. This marks an increase of 4.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
