Waunakee home prices rose in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Waunakee rose by $16,435 while total sales decreased by 12.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 50 homes sold, with a median sale price of $401,950 - a 4.3% increase over the $385,515 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 57 homes sold in Waunakee in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Waunakee for 2018 was $6,220. In 2017, the median sales tax was $5,944. This marks an increase of 4.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
