Cambridge home prices fell in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in Cambridge fell by $117,500 while total sales decreased by 60%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $90,500 - a 56.5% decrease over the $208,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Cambridge in May 2017.

The median sales tax in Cambridge for 2018 was $3,504. In 2017, the median sales tax was $3,603. This marks an decrease of 2.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.9%.
