Oregon median home prices rose by 0.3% in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in Oregon rose by $800 while total sales decreased by 32.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $230,000 - a 0.3% increase over the $229,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 40 homes sold in Oregon in May 2017.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2018 was $4,767. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,607. This marks an increase of 3.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
