Home prices increased in Oregon during April 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2018 in Oregon rose by $56,900 while total sales decreased by 43.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2018, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $264,900 - a 27.4% increase over the $208,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Oregon in April 2017.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2018 was $4,767. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,607. This marks an increase of 3.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
