Median home prices in DeForest rose to $270,000 in April 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2018 in DeForest rose by $77,000 while total sales increased by 43.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2018, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $270,000 - a 39.9% increase over the $193,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in DeForest in April 2017.

The median sales tax in DeForest for 2018 was $4,417. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,130. This marks an increase of 6.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.6%.
