February 2018: Waunakee experienced a 64.5% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2018 in Waunakee rose by $135,534 while total sales decreased by 10.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2018, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $345,534 - a 64.5% increase over the $210,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Waunakee in February 2017.

The median sales tax in Waunakee for 2018 was $6,220. In 2017, the median sales tax was $5,944. This marks an increase of 4.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
