July 2018: Home prices in Fredonia increased

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2018 in Fredonia rose by $8,750 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2018, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $191,450 - a 4.8% increase over the $182,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Fredonia in July 2017.

The median sales tax in Fredonia for 2018 was $3,089. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,920. This marks an increase of 5.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.6%.
