City of West Bend issued the following announcement on June 1.
Green for Life (GFL) will host its annual Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the GFL West Bend transfer station located at 803 N. River Rd. By law, electronics are banned from Wisconsin landfills. In response, the city’s recycling contract with GFL offers residents an annual opportunity to dispose of electronics and computers at no cost during the Electronics Recycling Event.

-Thermometers
-Dehumidifiers
-Large appliances (refrigerators, etc.)
-Medical equipment
-Any unit with sludge or liquids
