FOIA Request to Outagamie County Regarding Vendor Payments on September 26, 2024.
In our continued efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at The Sconi have submitted a request for records under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq. The request was made specifically for a list of all payments made to vendors from January 1, 2024, until September 26, 2024.
The requested information includes specific fields such as the vendor name, transaction date, transaction description, and the amount of each payment. As an organization committed to holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public, we believe that access to these records is essential in fulfilling our professional responsibilities.
As members of the media engaged in gathering and reporting news to the public, we have requested a fee waiver as media professionals. We remain committed to disseminating important information and ensuring transparency in local government affairs.
