Wisconsin Builders Association honors leaders at annual awards ceremony

Members of the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) convened at Stoney Creek Hotel Wausau - Rothschild to honor recipients of various awards. The event recognized individuals for their contributions to the housing industry.

"Our industry is lucky to be supported by so many impactful members that are constantly striving to fulfill our mission of advancing affordable and accessible housing for people across Wisconsin," said WBA Executive Director Brad Boycks. "We are excited to be able to recognize this year’s award recipients for their work improving the housing industry."

David Belman from Belman Homes, Inc., based in Waukesha, WI, was among those honored. Angie Kieta from LP Building Solutions in Waunakee, WI, received recognition as Associate of the Year. Rising Stars awards were given to John Stoker of Victory Homes of Wisconsin, Inc., located in Menomonee Falls, WI, and Fred Wilmsen from The Insurance Center in Green Bay, WI.

The Hall of Fame Award went to Jeff Dorner from Van’s Lumber & Custom Builders in Luxemburg, WI, and John Kassner from Fuhrman & Dodge, S.C., based in Middleton, WI.

The Wisconsin Builders Association is a professional trade association with 21 local associations aimed at building communities throughout the state. They advocate for 4,000 home building industry members with a focus on maintaining affordable and accessible housing for families across Wisconsin.
