FOIA Request to Dodge County Election Department Regarding Ballot Counting Methods on October 30, 2024.

As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability in local government affairs, we at The Sconi have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for information regarding the methods used by the Dodge County Election Department to count ballots.

In particular, we have asked for details about whether ballots are counted manually or using other methods. If manual counting is employed, we have requested an estimate of the number of people who will be working on election night.
