Rep. Gwen Moore, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin’s 4th district since 2005, recently shared her views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets. These posts address concerns ranging from ethics in government to economic policies and community support initiatives.

On November 17, 2024, Rep. Moore criticized Speaker Johnson's decision regarding the Ethics Committee report on Matt Gaetz. She stated that "releasing the Ethics Committee report on Matt Gaetz wouldn’t be appropriate because of 'precedent.' No. What would be unprecedented is the Speaker conducting a coverup so that a man credibly accused of sex trafficking can become Attorney General."

The following day, November 18, she addressed immigration policies and their impact on agriculture and the economy. In her tweet, she argued that "mass deportations aren’t just inhumane- they’d devastate America’s agricultural industry. Combined with his tariffs, Trump has a recipe for economic disaster. Farmers, workers, and consumers are all pay the price."

Later on November 18, Rep. Moore highlighted her support for local community resources by mentioning MacCanon Brown Sanctuary's role in providing essential services to her constituents. She expressed pride in securing funding for their efforts by stating "so many of my constituents count on MacCanon Brown Sanctuary to access resources like food, housing, legal aid and health care services... this earmark funding was a way for me lift up their expanding work in Congress."
