Black River Memorial Hospital in Wisconsin has been recognized with a 2024 Performance Leadership Award for excellence in Quality by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. This award acknowledges rural hospitals that achieve top quartile performance, specifically those in the 75th percentile or above, in areas such as Quality, Outcomes, and Patient Perspective.

"We thank all of our staff members who made this possible. Together, we continue to raise the bar on what it means to provide excellent care, close to home."

The awards are determined using data from the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX. This framework is utilized by rural hospitals and health systems to evaluate their performance across various operational and financial metrics.
