A time capsule from 1981 was found behind the cornerstone of the former Saint Mary’s Hospital on Kabel Ave. Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital will reveal its contents on Monday, February 3, at noon. The hospital is located at 2251 N Shore Drive.
The capsule, sealed over four decades ago, represents the hospital's historical significance. It might provide insights into life in the Rhinelander community during that era, featuring not only healthcare artifacts but also items that capture the culture and spirit of the time.
The unveiling event is open to the public and will be held in the Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital Galleria, near the cafeteria. The event is expected to be an engaging experience for attendees of all ages, whether they are long-time residents or new to the community.
